Levine Homes proudly sponsors the Friends of Israeli Defense Forces (FIDF) IMPACT Scholarship program. The program provides full academic scholarships to men and women from disadvantaged backgrounds who served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Jonathan Avraham is currently sponsored by Levine Homes. In his first semester, he studied physics, mathematics and chemistry and carries a 90 average. In addition to his studies, he volunteers in the “Ahari” program. The group he works with have dropped out of educational programs and have been discipline problems. While it has been difficult, Jonathan found the program to be very rewarding. “The kids who are participating aren’t the easiest kids to deal with. They dropped out of the education programs they took part in (discipline problems usually), so It wasn’t so easy to cope with them at first, but now things have changed. I can honestly say that four months at this program have granted me another family.”
Michael Levine, CEO of Levine Homes is proud to help the soldiers of the IDF who put themselves in harms way to protect Israel. “For us to be able to make an impact on the lives of those who protect Israel is incredibly rewarding. We are very proud of Jonathan’s dedication to his studies and for being a great young man. We look forward to continuing our support of Jonathan and for the IMPACT Scholarship program.”
