Levine Homes Sponsors FIDF IMPACT! Scholarship Program

August 31, 2016 11:21 am

Levine Homes Real Estate, a real estate team serving Palos Verdes Peninsula & South Bay, CA, has announced that they will be sponsoring IMPACT! Scholarship Program. IMPACT! is a charitable organization that former combat soldiers afford a higher education, and in return, the individual is asked to give back to his or her community through a set amount of volunteer work. The IMPACT! Scholarship Program has helped over 7,000 people pursue a higher education by providing recipients with 4-year tuition paid in full.

“I’m proud that due to the success of Levine Homes and Goldstar Construction we are able to change lives and give an opportunity to a student that otherwise wouldn’t have the means to go to a university. I want to thank all those who we have worked with and allowed this to happen,” stated Mike Levine, owner of Levine Homes Real Estate and Goldstar Construction. When organizations like Levine Homes Real Estate contribute to this scholarship, they are contributing to the future of the world economy by cultivating the ideal of peace through education. All in all, this program has allowed IMPACT! students to volunteer for over 2.5 million hours.

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must have a disadvantaged socio-economic background, which would prevent them from seeking a degree without financial aid, and must be a combat or combat-support veteran. If you or someone you know is interested in applying for this scholarship, please visit http://www.fidf.org/page.aspx?pid=270 or call 1.888.318.3433.

Levine Homes’s Commitment To The Cause

Since the IMPACT! program’s beginnings in 2002, they have helped over 7,000 people pursue a higher education and for over 2.5 million hours of additional volunteer work. This program would not be possible without the support of businesses such as Levine Homes and Goldstar Construction. Levine Home’s generosity will help disadvantaged students obtain the higher education that they deserve.
