Alondra Park Golf Course
Located on South Prairie Avenue, the Alondra Park Golf Course facility has two golf courses with a total of 36 holes. The regulation length courses have generous fairways, raised greens and medium difficulty and were designed by William P. Bell. Aside from the beautiful courses, Alondra Park also has banquet facilities, a cocktail lounge, coffee shop and a practice pitching area with bunker as well as a night-lighted driving range with shade shelter.
Terranea
The Terranea Resort features 9 holes of unbeatable golf. Far from your standard par-3 course, each hole here is a championship-caliber par-3, ranging from 104 to 173 yards, with a total of 1,239 yards from the back tees. If you’re looking to practice before heading out to the course itself, Terranea’s practice area has two target greens and three bunkers. From June 1-August 31, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you may try the resort’s putting course where beginners can try their hand at golf.
Los Verdes Golf and Country Club
Situated above the cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes and designed by Billy Bell, the Los Verdes Golf and Country club’s golf course features Southern California’s beautiful landscape and seascape, providing a truly one-of-a-kind golfing experience.
The golf course presents multiple elevation changes in its 6,617 yards, with a slope rating of 121. The course’s most challenging hole is undoubtedly the 441-yard par 4 fourth, where you may get distracted by the superb view of the ocean. The course also has been newly renovated with an addition of five new target greens and two large putting greens to deliver a truly memorable game play experience.
